Ferrotitanium is manufactured to all specifications ranging from standard grades to those with tight controls for aluminum, vanadium, carbon, nitrogen, and other residuals.  The FeTi is crushed to the customer's specification, which includes mill to powder sizes.  FeTi is an ideal alloying addition for use in steel and foundry products.  It is a very consistent product and available in large volumes.

Cobbles are manufactured by crushing thin gauge titanium scraps, cleaning to remove dirt and oil, and sizing to the customer's specification.  The product is used in electron beam and plasma hearth melting processes to produce new titanium metal.  It is also used as an alloying additive in the production of ultra low carbon steel and certain steel foundry products.

Turnings and Briquettes are manufactured from titanium turnings generated by machine shops.  The turnings are crushed, cleaned to remove dirt and oil, dried, and sized to the customer's specification.  For some applications the processed turnings are compacted into small briquettes (like hockey pucks).  These products are used by producers of titanium, stainless steel, steel, and aluminum.

TiSolTMBriquettes are manufactured from finely sized titanium materials.  The raw materials are crushed, cleaned, sized, dried and compacted into briquettes.  This product is used by primary and secondary aluminum producers.

Recycle Solids are premium titanium solids that are sorted by grade to meet the customer's specifications.  The product can be in the form of feedstock and/or bulk weldables and used by titanium producers for recycling into the titanium metal production process.  All of these materials are sorted 100% to be assured of the exact titanium alloy and to be free of any contaminatlon.

Prepared Solids are various grades, sizes, and shapes of solids that are used by producers of stainless steel, steel, superalloy, and ferrotitanium.  The manufacturing requires "preparing" the solids by sorting, sizing, and cleaning according to the customer's specification.

Semi-Finished Products are sheet, plate, billet, and ingot that are sold to processors for forging, hot-rolling, and fabricating.  These products are not manufactured at the Detroit facility, but normally there are limited quantities available of certain usable products.

Sponge is available in small quantities for use as an alloying additive.  It is carried in inventory as a service to smaller consumers who desire prompt delivery of a high quality product.

Other Titanium Products, Global Titanium is willing to look at any application and assist in determining the specific needs of size, chemistry, packaging, and price in order to find a titanium metallurgical product to fit the application.
